What we are all about.


   We are a small batch soap maker located in the heart of Kingston Ontario. Our passion for small batch soap making started from my own experience with sensitivities and allergies to commercially prepared soaps and cosmetics.

Back in 2020, I woke up to discover a terrible rash on my face. I had visited my dentist days earlier and wondered if I had come into contact with latex or another product I was allergic to. I called to ask if they used any latex products in their office, the reply was they had not.

I then attempted to treat the rash myself at home, this went on for several weeks, without any improvement. Frustrated, I booked an appointment with my physician. She was confident I was having a reaction to the additives in my cosmetic and personal care products such as parabens, sulfates and phthalates. She told me to dispose of these products and start buying ‘clean’ products, it was then I realized how many products contained such ingredients.


My husband and I were determined to create products that would be free of harsh chemicals and be kind to your skin. From that moment Limestone City Soaps was born!


All of our products are cruelty free and only tested on family. Thanks Family!
